Safety and Quality
All components provide superior quality, safety and reliability over other cheap snap systems.
Plastic components are made of strong, safe ABS and are tested as complying to EN71, EN62115, EN55014, etc; the European equivalents of Australian Standards recognised for toy safety. All parts feature backing plates to prevent fiddly little fingers from poking into the electronics connections.
Components operate on a low 3volt or 4.5volt so as to not present as an electrical hazard; our custom components have additional current limiting or short circuit protection to further protect against incident. This includes our USB cable connection.
Although not an Australian Standard requirement, our components are manufactured using lead-free solder for both environmental and health reasons. Our CORE kit storage boxes are substantially made from recycled plastics.
