This component includes two LEDs, one red and one green. When the polarity is connected one way, the green LED lights. When connected the opposite way the red LED lights. With this component in a circuit, the direction of the electricity flowing can be tested. The component can also be used to signal status such as good/bad, right/wrong, etc.
